Smorty is a paid-to-blog service that allows you (the blogger) to choose about which topics to write, and then get paid to include a link in your posts back to the advertiser’s website. The low end of the payout is $6 per link, going all the way up to $100 per link (!!!!) depending on the characteristics of your blog.

PayPerPost works exactly the same way smorty does, but it has generally a lot more ads to choose from and a larger advertiser base. The payout range goes all the way up to $1000 per blog article! Starting at $5-$10 per blog post, the payout starts really adding up! Even if you are just starting your blog and only your auntie-zelda is reading it, you can make some decent returns using PayPerPost. I have been using this paid to blog service for a few months now on another blog I own, and within that time I’ve made more than $200. OK, I am not making the same astronomical amounts John Chow is making, but it is a decent blogging income growth nevertheless.

Another way to monetize and make money blogging is to sell link ad space on your blog. I’ve been using TLA for a year now on my other blog, and it has been quite successful. Again; not pulling in millions, but there has been steady growth over the past twelve months in terms of the number of advertisers that have bought a link on my site. Although I can sell a maximum of 10 site-wide links, I believe as of today about 9 of those are sold. Mind you, the payout depends on the blog’s PR ranking and popularity, but the amount ads up to about $80 per month. Think of how this compounds and the upward potential there is… wouldn’t you like to get an extra $80 per month next month just from blogging? If you do, it’s time to pay TLA a visit.

If you are interested in any sort of affiliate income from your blog or website, I strongly believe this website is the road to success to making money online with your blog. The scoop is the following: every day a downloadable product (eBook or software) goes massively on sale and is offered on DDC. This means it creates an instant pull for people who otherwise only may be interested to actually buy it, because after 24 hours the deal really expires, and it goes back to regular price. So, basically it is boxing day every day on DDC. It’s not just a deal, if you publish them on your website and send traffic to DDC, you will make money from it.
